NUSCL footie team in training

Sports & social events are a key part of the supporters’ club. Our football team are currently playing pre-season friendlies before joining a 9-a-side league later in 2021. If you wish to get involved in pre-season training, please get in touch. We meet every Sunday and sometimes on Wednesdays in Regents Park.

Darts & Pool teams compete within APFSCIL (Association of Provincial Football Supporters Clubs In London) The primary purpose of pool & darts games is a fun night out – members of all abilities are welcome and we try to ensure everyone gets a game. In recent years the pool team has won honours in both the league & cup. The darts team is establishing itself well in the APFSCIL first division after a series of promotions. All members are invited to attend an annual sports day where those who are interested can compete individually for trophies in pool, darts, and dominoes. We host an annual pub quiz afternoon & aim to field a team who competes more regularly.

50 Anniversary with Frank Clark, Vic Keeble & Arthur Horsfield

Other social events are hosted throughout the year, including quizzes, an annual Christmas dinner, pre-and post-game meets when NUFC is in London, and regularly frequent a few London pubs to watch televised games. Our Sports & Social Officer has some great ideas to add to what we already offer and would love to hear the views of new/prospective members.

Watching games

The Dolphin in Kings Cross has become home from home for The London Mags and acts as club HQ for large events like the league cup final. Terrific atmosphere and camaraderie for games on TV.
