This event is in the past.
There is no PL action in two weeks & we have that planned a quiz afternoon. Starting at 3pm in Soho at the famous & delightful 'Dog & Duck' on the corner of Bateman street & Frith street. We will hit three (possibly four) established Soho watering holes. Expect a general knowldge quiz with some observational and local history/knowledge questions thrown in. It will be fun. May we suggest £4 per person (or £6 with a club enamel badge thrown in). All funds towards the club.

"Many famous historical figures have enjoyed the hospitality of The Dog and Duck, including John Constable, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and George Orwell. Our pub was originally built in 1734 on the site of the Duke of Monmouth's home. The present building was built in 1897, and is considered to have one of London's most exquisite interiors of the period, characterised by thousands of highly glazed tiles."
Its central, easy to get to, England are not playing. Just poorer teams like Sunderland in League 1. Since its at a sensible 3pm start, The England & Ireland Rugy games will both have finished. :)
