It almost 2018, but we start with sad news that long standing club member Keith Gould passed away peacefully on December 3rd. Keith was 94. Many of you will have known Keith well. His thanksgiving service (all welcome) will be:
Friday 5th January 2018 at 2pm:
St Nicholas Church
Refreshments afterwards at:
Harpenden Golf club
Colin Robson with input from Nick Young has written an excellent tribute to Keith which is both fitting and informative. We will publish this in the next Magpie.
May we sincerely wish you best wishes for 2018

It is with deep regret that we learned that one of our longest serving members and club vice president Michael Rodgers sadly passed away over the weekend after a short illness. Michael along with brother Tony was in Budapest to see Newcastle lift the Fairs Cup.
He was a key member of the Supporters Club quiz team and from the very earliest days was a regular traveller on Club trips. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and our thoughts are with Tony and the rest of his family.
